This term gets thrown around a lot. But it comes in different flavors with the "Rider Level" falling within reach of most of us. What's common to all levels is an initial assessment of what's original, what's been altered, what's not working, and what may be missing. After that, here's what's possible: Rider Level: A bike for the person who wants a reliable, good-looking classic that can be driven on a regular basis. This isn't done with the idea of ever winning anything, but it can be shown in rider-level events.
Show-Driver Level: Everything that would be done at the rider level is also done here. However, the result is a motorcycle that could approach 95 or more points in judging and could be driven to shows.
Concours Level: This a bike you'd find in a museum or collection and generally wouldn't be driven more than single-digit miles a year, if that. It would be transported in an enclosed trailer to events where it could achieve 99+ points in judging. Everything is original or an exact replacement.
